Michael Dhesi
MSc AGDP, BDS (Hons), MFDS RCPS (Glasg), MPDC RSCEd
GDC no. 227168
After completing secondary education in East Kilbride, I qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2012 attaining a BDS with Honours. I have been active in post-graduation dental education from the outset of my career and achieved Membership to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2013.
I am a passionate advocate of evidence-based dentistry. I believe that teeth should be for life and aim to assist my patients in achieving their oral health goals. I hold an MSc with distinction in Advanced General Dental Practice from the University of Birmingham and a Membership in Primary Dental Care from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I have also completed a yearlong course in implant dentistry.
The digital world is changing how we practice dentistry and I have a particular interest in digital restorative dentistry in the management of tooth wear. I look forward to bringing these skills and technology to the practice to enhance the care we are able to provide. My interests also include the management of dental anxiety using conscious sedation techniques and oral surgery including implant dentistry. I welcome new patients and referrals from colleagues for such cases.
I am actively involved with teaching new graduates about restorative dentistry by delivering hands-on courses via NHS Education for Scotland. I am also a dental advisor for Taylor Defence Services and serve as secretary of the West of Scotland branch of the Faculty of General Dental Practice.
Outside of dentistry, I do occasionally find time to relax! In my spare time, I enjoy regular visits to the gym and running.
I look forward to welcoming you to our practice.

GDC no. 228716
I was born and educated in Dunfermline before moving to Glasgow to study Dentistry in 2007. I qualified from the University of Glasgow with a BDS in 2012 and completed my vocational training year in general practice in Inverkip.
I have a friendly and relaxed manner with patients and enjoy helping them to achieve their dental aims, however simple or complex they may be. I became a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2013 and completed an MSc with distinction in Advanced General Dental Practice in 2016. I also hold a Membership in Primary Dental Care from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and have completed the Scottish Dental Implant Year Course.
I am very enthusiastic about bringing new technologies into the dental surgery to help patients achieve their goals in the most minimally invasive, predictable way. I am very interested in digital dentistry as well as aesthetic dentistry, sedation, orthodontics and the placement of dental implants. Outside of dentistry, I enjoy keeping fit and going to the football.
I look forward to welcoming you to Greygables.
